Happy Monday

It’s a fresh new week…make it a great one!

Some people don’t like Mondays, some people love Fridays….I say love every day of the week that you’re alive and well!  Cherish every day and make them the best you can, because none of us are guaranteed tomorrow.

If you have a roof over your head, a full belly and a job that pays the bills, then enjoy what you have.  Don’t look at tomorrow and dream what it will be like…you’re just wasting what today has to offer.

Start making your dreams come true whether how big or small they may be.  Don’t look back and say “shoulda, coulda, woulda”.  I’m making every day count, even if it’s just washing clothes or doing the dishes.  Make your home a happy one and then your life out in the world will mimic that.

If pink walls are what you want, then paint them!  If you want to learn how to sew, then make it happen!  If you want a career that requires college, then go to college.  You’re never too old to learn new things and be happy!

I don’t want to look back and wonder what might have been.

I must confess, after being in a coma and on life support…my perspective has changed on life.  It didn’t happen all of a sudden, it has come gradually.  I think God has a way of making us sit up and pay attention if we will.  And I sure did!

I sat and dreamed for years about being online.  Looking at all of the beautiful and wonderful blogs, I would just sit and dream.

But after coming home, I soon realized I had a gift and I wanted to share it…with everyone!  God works in mysterious ways, doesn’t He?

So Finally I did it!  With encouragement from some really sweet women in the blog world, I created a blog.  And from there, my world has just got bigger and bigger.  The people I have been able to talk with and help has been a true blessing to me!

They think I have been helping them, but in reality, they’ve been helping me.  To step out more, to have more confidence in who I am and what I have to offer.

So you see….if you never try to make your days good, then they never will be.  There’s a still small voice in all of us if we will only listen.  IT will give us the desires of our hearts, but here’s the catch: when you finally listen, your eyes and heart won’t be focused on riches and glory, they’ll be focused on what’s really important.  Making people better and giving HOPE!

So Today is Monday…make it a great one!  Tomorrow may even be better!

  4. I won’t say that it’s amazing to see the dreams that you’ve accomplished because I know why. Your hard work and perseverance have paid off royally–and I don’t mean in an earthly way. I am SO proud of the way you have used your blog to inspire others and to share your faith. God has been watching. 🙂
